Aastan
Innovative Business Systems of Tosan, trading under the brand name Aastan, received its operating license as a PGSB (Public Government Services Broker) from the Electronic Government Interoperability Working Group and the Information Technology Organization in 2022. As the PGSB operator, Aastan is responsible for creating, operating, and managing the government’s PGSB platform. As the operator of government services, Aastan has the ability to offer e-government services to private businesses.
Under a seven-year contract with the Information Technology Organization, the Aastan brand, as a non-governmental private operator, has been licensed to provide public government services to both large and small private businesses. As an independent operator, Aastan aims to expand e-government services within society by serving the private sector and helping businesses leverage these services to grow their operations.
Over the past decade, government organizations have used a platform managed by TOSAN to offer e-government services to one another. However, with the issuance of the PGSB license to Aastan, these services, which were previously only available through government companies, can now be accessed by private businesses via the internet.
Currently, hundreds of services are provided to businesses through the Aastan platform by various government organizations and agencies. The general categories of some of these services include:
- Authentication services for individuals (Shahkar, etc.)
- Document and certificate verification
- Tracking services for shipments, passengers, and goods
- Geographical and location-based information
- Information related to civil status, judicial records, and more
